What do you value most about your phone? Is it the great pictures the camera lets you take? Is it the beautiful screen with which you see media on? Is it the endurance and reliability of its battery and processor, making you feel at ease even at low battery levels? Maybe it’s just the way it feels in your hand? The...
Y me...
I was visiting my grandmother and her caretaker around the holidays in 2024, back in my birth country. There, we eat a popular pepper called 'Locoto' which is a small pepper that can range in color from green to red and ranges in spiciness as well. You can google it but basically it's like a very small habanero with...
I've deployed Note Mark for all my note-taking needs. It's a decent tool, but its documentation is rather lacking. So here's what I did.

Twitter was once so damn cool. And I’m not going to say anything about Elon. If we’re being honest, Twitter was broken long before Space Karen took over. What Elon’s takeover of Twitter/X did do, however, was make many people look at how they allowed social media into their lives. I know, since I’m one of them. Back...
Here is what Ina wrote about her Auntie Edie who she stayed with in summers in Newburgh in her childhood. There is a bit of overlap with what she wrote elsewhere about Uncle George and Newburgh, but also new things. Edith Mark‘s father was from Yorkshire, her mother from Ireland. She had a brother, Leslie, who lived...
Scandi-metal supergroups, mediocre Nightwish clones, and brand new music that sounds twenty years old
