I think social media is too drifty. I’m 23, which I know, is very young, but already, I feel like trends are a little too tiring for me to participate in, sadly. Having a moderately successful following as a teen making memes and videos about video games online gave me a good taste of how nice it is to have people...

A mission post by Captain Amelia Waterhouse, Lieutenant Zola, Lieutenant JG Sean Morgan Mission - Let's Do The Timeloop Again The first dozen loops or so, Sean tried his best to repeat step for step what he'd done before because he wasn't sure if it would mess things up if he didn't. But with each loop, things...

Wisdom is the moral quality of knowing what you don’t know; it’s learning and handling your ignorance and limitations. You can learn someone else’s knowledge, but it will be mere information for you. Turning that information into knowledge and then later wisdom, you must understand how much you don’t know. Related...

Hace tiempo que no disfruto del placer de terminar el día con el meñique y el anular manchados en tinta. Aunque, me consuela saber que el trabajo me ocupa, que el laboratorio me enseña como funciona el mundo, y que el gimnasio me distrae. A post about social networks and the importance of making a stink.

We’re just running through this year. Time is flying, and honestly, it hasn’t been that much fun. But, time going on does mean it’s time for another monthly wrap up, this time for April. Reading It was another rough month, but I did do some reading this month. Fiction Flux: A Cyberpunk Romance for Men by...

I do a lot of talks and because of this I also attend quite a lot of them. I’ve previously shared some hopefully useful advice on how to give a decent presentation. Something I just learned The TensorFlow that is included in the new frameworks module (aurora_nre_models_frameworks-2025.0.0) was built with numpy==1.26.4 (< 2). Unfortunately, if you then (for whatever reason) then tries to install / upgrade a package1 that has numpy in its dependencies, e.g.: python3 -m pip...

Awake at 4, rereading your post from when you lost phone contact; had to get an ID and Trump won the election. Goodness me. I should probably log in to the microblog and annoy people in other time zones. But like Lance I'm in a tilt-a-whirl - but about social media (not a new age girl). The internet just doesn't...

As much as I love Kate editor, as I mentioned in my previous post, setting up Python language server has always been a bit fiddly if you want it to work with virtual environments. However thanks to Kate documentation and some Big Think:tm:, I managed to figure it out, and now I wish to share it. I could just show...
