Robert Birming wrote about a /photo page. And I like that idea. Just a photo, of something. And every now and then, update it.
September 19 is International Talk Like A Pirate Day, as well as Software Freedom Day. There was, for the first time in a while, here in Wellington the Software Freedom Day (un)conference! Organized by OpsDev.
Kiwi PyCon West Island (Known to some as "PyCon AU"), was on this past weekend. And, because I wanted, and kinda had to, go, I went to Brisbane for a week and a half. Mostly enjoying holiday, and have 3 days of conference in the middle.

Where one would like to see less "meta posts", another starts a month of reply collecting... Gotta love the vibe there!
Joan writes about how they encounter people that bring an "AI Note taker" to every catch-up and meeting. Recording every word, and transcribing it. (Or is it mutilate? You never know with those things!). And they feel unsafe to say they mind.
As you may know, I read quite a few books. And when I saw Max' post about the Xteink e-reader, I was intrigued. Intrigued enough to want one too.
Rishabh asked some questions about bloggers' AI usage, or not-usage.
