alright, let's talk about something that I think that probably resonates with most folks navigating the bustling corridors of a modern workplace, especially in tech industries: the curious case of information asymmetry, or more simply, people not reading. it’s a bizarre phenomenon, isn't it? we pour hours into...
I had a lot of hopes in the UX of Image Playground since it was announced. If we leave aside the fact the images generated by the app are still, just not very good, the process of image creation itself was promising to bring something new to the table that I feel went amiss. Here’s a quote from WWDC 2024, regarding...

Lo publica un grupo de investigadores encabezado por Emilio Gómez-Sánchez en Unveiling the hidden danger: detection and characterisation of microplastics in human follicular and...
Cold and rainy. Unusual combination for here. No holiday here tomorrow. But one is coming the 9th, statewide. I’ve come to appreciate lists. Somebody said always number them when blogging. Just a few months earlier, in April 2010, I'd been diagnosed with severe mitral valve regurgitation and an enlarged atrium. At the time, I was racing at an elite level as a...

I checked Flightradar24 the moment I woke up (as I usually do), and I could see that a German Government Bombardier BD-700-1A10 (reg. 14+02) was scheduled to arrive in less than two...
This new system, which takes effect with the 2026 qualification cycle starting this month, basically does away with the old roll-down system, in which unclaimed slots would roll down indefinitely within an age group. Ironman has a good explanation in their FAQ, but the short version is: Each race is allocated a...

I’ve been slowly sorting through and cleaning up my disorganized collection of notes. I came across one from a few years ago when I was reading Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown. This quote in particular keeps ringing ringing ringing in my head:
