Greetings, wanderer! You've reached my personal homepage. Let me introduce myself: I'm Michał, a middle-aged nerd from southern Poland who can't grow a beard to save his life. Beardlessness is a problem amongst older nerd crowds, so instead I have an old school, static website. The maximize the street cred, this site is fully self-hosted and self-built In fact, you are talking directly to my home server located in the living room. The HTML you are processing is generated by my custom Python SSR and is written in Vim.

The nth attempt of the first season is when Curb Your Enthusiam clicked. It was not perfect, but it was funny. The second? The second is where it won me over. Let's start with the biggest improvement: it's much less chaotic. I think actors got to know each other better, and they can improvise smoothly now; sadly...
This is one of the most shocking surprises I've had in recent memories. I picked The Metaphor Detox Centre from our local little library because the blurb sounded interesting, and I have very little contact with Asian literature. Now that I finished it, I know two things: I have no idea what I've just finished, and...

It's almost the end of the first quarter of XXI century. I may not know what the "age of AI" is, but I am apparently living in it. At the same time, people all around me are attacking it on all fronts, some even call for a complete ban. This not where I stand. You see, I believe AI has the power to transform the...
I adore Seinfeld, it's my comfort food. But since I've seen all seasons multiple times, I've been looking for something new, but similar. You know, like the boring person I am. Curb Your Enthusiasm is a logical progression: half of Seinfeld creators (Larry is the one who has not yet endorsed a genocide), similar...

Atlantis: The Lost Tales is a 1997 point & click adventure game in FPP. It's a bit like Myst, but while Myst is generally considered a milestone game and a bag of fun, Atlantis is much more divisive. There are folks who swear by it, and there are those who love it. And there is a lot to love here, starting with the...

And now the exciting conclusion. Maybe not that exciting, but they try. And perhaps not a conclusion, as we're still 20 something episodes until the very end. Still: The crew of Voyager is infiltrating Borg Cube as Drones. It's Voyager, so we know that nothing bad will happen, but Tuvok fighting with the call of the...
