Greetings, wanderer! You've reached my personal homepage. Let me introduce myself: I'm Michał, a middle-aged nerd from southern Poland who can't grow a beard to save his life. Beardlessness is a problem amongst older nerd crowds, so instead I have an old school, static website. The maximize the street cred, this site is fully self-hosted and self-built In fact, you are talking directly to my home server located in the living room. The HTML you are processing is generated by my custom Python SSR and is written in Vim.

Sometimes people as me questions. Not frequently, but they do. Who are you? A human. It's sad that it's no longer given. I can't solve CAPTCHAs, so maybe it's wrong? Still, my name is Michał, and I am a nerd from Kraków, Poland. I am into niche and old things, like anime, BSD, or Emacs. I earn my bread as a senior...
I first heard of the Expanded Universe some 30 years ago. I was an avid reader of a Polish computer magazine - Secret Service - which had a dedicated Star Wars column. And I played all of Jedi Knight games, I even own (of the worst) EU books, but I have never dig deep. Luckily, Disney decided, that with how...
Blue Prince is a game I have not heard about until recently. If it wasn't for the AGHS top 25 games list, I would have never heard about it at all. And what shame that would be! Luckly, I'm still have the borrowed PS5 and its owner also wanted to play, so he ordered it to my flat. And so I've tried the most...
It's been 3 years since the last movie. The Elders had to wait 3 full years to learn what will happen to frozen Han and what will papa Vader do. We waited a week. But what a mess it is! Return of the Jedi is the most chaotic, uneven episode of the Original Saga. It started with pig-aliens, and ended with The Kid...

I hate my iPhone. What used to be a cool toy became addictive and an active hindrance in my life. For a long time, I wanted to get myself a (so called) dumb-phone, but this would prove itself a challenge in the year of our Lord (The Smartphone) 2026. Too many things depend on my having this terrible device, that not...
Out of all the recent games, this is the one I knew I wanted to try at some point. It's said to be a groundbreaking achievement of… something. People can't seem to decide if it's an indie game or an AA title. Still: I have yet to find any cyberperson who says it's bad. Luckily, I was allowed allowed me to play it as...

You got to get them while they're young! The Kid liked the first Star Wars quite a bit, so we watched the sequel. The Wife had huge objections (it's too scary!), and she was almost right. However, The Empire Strikes Back is, simply put, amazing. What was a kind of dumb tale of guys fighting with glowing sticks,...
