I haven't enjoy a fantasy book in a LONG time! This is good!

In Europe they were going on about things called postmodernist and poststructuralist magick, which seemed to involve lots of spells doing the opposite of what their inventors wanted, ana spells that did nothing at all, which everyone claimed was very profound. hehe... this is so subtle 🤭

This is supposed to be a master piece high science fiction books. Yet, I can't help but think how dumb it is of Anderson to have alcohol in space, in a closed environment, with 50 people who have to stand each other for the rest of their lives... this plot hole is way too big for me to ignore. This is for next month's book club. I have been looking forward to this! When I started it, it reminded me of Variaties op aanwezigheid by Eva Meijer, which is not fiction, but it has the same defeating sense in the repetition and emptiness of the days.
