Did you know I kinda always forget what to write in the main, regular section of these weeknotes? The structure I usually type these things is something like: introduction, games, books or manga I reading, shows/movies/anime I watched, youtube and blogposts, leaving the regular notes at the end! It’s a bit weird to...

In all honesty, this is basically just another post to talk about games I haven’t finished yet but that have been very fun, so I just want to go on a quick ramble about how good they have been so far. Some are on hold but still worth bringing up, and some I started over—after abandoning them for years—all of a...

Welcome, to my week notes! Can you believe that we are almost done with April already? There have been a lot of things going on lately, but hey, at the very least I keep reading on my XTEINK X4 and nudging other people to buy it too, because it sparks joy. Jokes aside, here are some of the things that happened...

Well, it’s been about a year since my last round of confessions as a FOSS enthusiast and I do have a few more things that I thought I’d share! This was in part tangentially inspired by a post by Adrian Perales on controversies around FOSS programs (in Spanish). Well, controversial decisions happen on an individual...

Welcome to another installment of “things that interested me today but aren’t enough to warrant a blogpost by themselves so I bundled them all together here”—I hope you find something that catches your eye! Again I don’t really plan to do these every week but it just so happens that I felt like writing about...

Ages ago at this point, I watched a YouTube video about short science fiction books! Back then I ended up reading and eventually reviewing The Undefeated by Una McCormack. That very same video is what first brought this novella to my attention, but well, it took me a few more years to finally give it a go. To Be...

This weekend was packed with quite a bit of stuff, I wonder if things will calm down a bit now that the Easter vacation period is over. 🎨 Modified my website design, just a bit! I created a new background wallpaper pattern featuring icons of game consoles, videogames, hobbies and the like. I also went back to a...

A game originally released in 1996, the first to ever use the term “survival horror” to refer to itself. This is was the entryway for a whole generation into a genre that has seen a resurgence in recent years, thanks to the franchise’s return to its roots, from RE7 to the remakes, and its latest title, Resident Evil...

I am currently working on my review for Resident Evil, but I need to take some pictures and finish it up a little more! So far I tend to separate everything into the basics, art, gameplay, story, music and stuff; but I ended up turning this post into more of a retrospective about survival horror as a whole and...

A couple of weeks ago I acquired a tiny ereading device, the XTEINK X4. It all started with a YouTube video reviewing the device that I first shared in one of my weeknotes. A day later I saw that James had been using one already, and soon enough after a few more reviews I ordered one myself. Along James, some other...

Happy Easter to all of you! The week has come and gone in a flash, and a lot of things happened this time around, thanks to the few days off I got. We are even going to the Moon again. and honestly it feels amazing to do so. Here’s a quick rundown through some important events and things of note! ✈️ My siblings came...
