With Blaugust running wild, and me posting almost daily, I don’t know what to mention here on this intro that is super interesting. Just go and check my posts! They are pretty fun. Here are some of the small things that aren’t enough for a full blogpost, or maybe they are, we’ll see. My weeknotes, From August 4 to...

No introduction, no filler, just some facts. You can check some existing facts about me on this post from last year’s Blaugust and this other compilation. Even though I am Mexican, there’s a lot of Mexican food everyone seems to love, but I just don’t like as much. I can eat it if I have to be polite, but yeah, I’d...

I realize I have spent a lot of my time writing about videogames here, and not focusing much on most of my other hobbies. I guess I just want to ramble about something different today, so why not? The other day I saw a post on a reading group I found in some mainstream social media platform that shall remain...

Yesterday my work was rather entertaining. A workmate went on vacation for today and tomorrow, and there were a few tasks I had to do on their stead. This was nothing unusual, he covers for me plenty as well. However, I do wish things had allowed for at least a bit more time to write a post. I did have a relatively...

Behold, it is I, the guy who continues to play new shiny videogames instead of sticking to my ongoing playthroughs. I’ve written before about my ongoing games, which games I would start over instead of resuming, why I abandoned them, and the like. This post will be different. Not a list of games, not excuses as to...

Andreas posted some interesting thoughts, wondering if maybe we are too paranoid when it comes to AI slop. Please, go read his words first, I only intend to add to the conversation here, not to put him in an uncomfortable position or something, we are friends and everything after all—even if he barely mentions my...

When the events I share on my weeknotes are few and far between, it’s often because I wrote a lot of posts already talking about stuff that was interesting to me during the week, so, yeah it happens sometimes! In any case, this is some of the other stuff that happened between July 28 and August 3, 2026! 📅 In case...

Before Hades, Supergiant Games already had a place in the indie gaming scene, even though their previous games didn’t get as much of a spotlight, they were known for delivering quality from the start. One of their first titles was Transistor, a sci-fi themed action/tactics RPG hybird released in 2014—about four...

July has been left behind, Mexico didn’t make it further in the World Cup, but at least Spain won instead of Argentina. It does seem like the U-20 team is doing pretty well in the CONCACAF Championship though! group leaders and ready for quarter finals. Back to July, I am rather impressed with the amount of gaming...

I stumbled upon a short video about traveling with a Nintendo 3DS—my feed continues to expose me to more of these even after I got one—and one of the main topics there was how playing videogames on exotic places can often enhance the overall experience, not just of the game, but of being there, to the point of...

It feels like not a lot happened this week. My workplace has been rather boring, my gym-going is pretty standard, there were a lot of things happening on my gaming side, and such, but well, here’s a summary of things. Oh right, the weather. This week was rather sunny for once, seems like the rainy days are coming to...

Had it been just a couple of months ago, this every day carry would have been very different! But things change, and I decided it was finally time to write an update on my Every Day Carry! This post was originally inspired by Bojidar’s EDC post, but I remembered I had this draft pending completion after Rubenerd’s...
