Kami
Hi! I'm Kami. She/Her, name written with capital K. People keep stylizing my name as starting with a lowercase k, and I'm not too sure why? I mean, i don't mind, i think it's fun. Anyways, I'm a trans girl working in webdev, primarily using php (the best programming language). I love reading mahnwa, playing videogames and reading cultivation novels of questionable quality. I have strong opinions about a lot of things that really don't matter (and some that do) and I'm using this blog to make that everyone else's problem. My favorite book is lord of the mysteries, my favorite movie is your name and my favorite music genre is folk punk.
Franz Graf
My “career” in photography has started long ago and slowly but steadily. One of the triggers that ignited my passion was when my wife and me started to do more and more hiking. During those hikes we experienced so many epic vistas that I wanted to capture. The primary goal was to conserve memories for ourselves, family and friends. Especially for those who could not hike together with us. Joining Social Media platforms gave me an incredible boost in both, creativity and skills: I started to follow some professionals in the field, educated myself, learned through their YouTube channels and practiced, practiced, practiced. This quickly led to significantly better results which triggered more positive feedback. And the feedback motivated me even more to go out hiking in all kinds of weather and seasons .. a happy spiral was started. After a while I realized that I would never achieve the quality of professional landscapers who go out in inhumane times to grab one great shot. I tried – but it did not bring me satisfaction. I primarily go out for hiking, grab the photos during the tour and try to bring the whole hiking experience to the people following my journey.

I call myself Xaya Emeris 🥔, a student research intern in Open-Ended learning. This is a place to get myself back to the wonders of small scribbles on a notebook, low effort digital art, get started on coding small things, rants on Self-organization science and an excuse to have fancy thoughts, without calling it over thinking.

This is basically answering the question “Who am I”? Well, I am very bad at these things. My therapist knows that. So I am crossing crossed the 30s line soon already. I am also Spanish, from Madrid. Since more than two years, I live in Germany. I think I have always been a bit of a nerd. I love sci-fi and I used to read a lot of fantasy.
